Tossing In The Wind
Do you ever feel like you are just going through the motions without any care in this world?
Maybe, you are doing things based on habits but lack enthusiasm.
If you find yourself in this situation, it may be due to a lack of directions.
If you are unable to make difficult decisions then maybe you are suffering from a lack of faith.
Humans need stable directions to navigate the path of life. Thus, God gave us the ability to make choices.
However, He encourages us to always choose life and we will live abundantly.
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live
(Deuteronomy 30:19)

God wants us to choose the blessings of abundant life.
The pathway to this wonderful life is found in the Word of God (Psalms 119:105).
He has given us everything to guide us in the right direction.
If we follow and obey God’s Word we will never be like the wave constantly tossing to and fro by the wind.
During your journey on life’s difficult pathway, your feet will not slip because the Lord will enlarge your path (2 Samuels 22:37).
You will not stumble because the Lord will uphold your steps (Psalms 17:5).
The Lord will always prepare you in advance for whatever lies ahead and He will always lead you on the path of righteousness. (Psalms 23:3; 25:4).
Are you still in doubt?
If you are, let us look closely at the composition of God’s pathway.
The composition of the Lord’s path
The pathway of the Lord is smooth (Psalms 27:11).
The paths of the Lord are mercy and truth. (Psalms 25:10).
The path of the Lord drips with abundance (Psalms 65:11)
The path of the Lord is guarded with justice (Proverbs 2:8).
The path of the Lord is straight to promote healing and deliverance (Hebrews 12:13).

Knowing all these great benefits of following God’s pathway, one wonders why anyone would choose the wrong path that will lead to destruction.
Therefore, consult the Lord first before attempting to do anything so that He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:6).
Then, obediently follow the Lord wherever He leads.
Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
(Isaiah 2:3 NKJV)
I pray that we will all stick to the right path.
God bless you.

Your pictures are beautiful. Your post is so appropriate for me also as we just studied Psalm 1 this week in our women’s study. Blessed is the man who walks in the path of God.
