Seven Prophecies to Declare Over Your Life During this Christmas Season
The Christmas season is one of the busiest time of the year.
Hence, during this time accidents and traumas are frequent.
But, they can be avoided if you pray and prophecy good things over your life and family.
Therefore, the following are seven prophecies that you can declare over your life during this Christmas season.
The Bible states that, “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.” (Job 22:28).
Seven declarations to speak over your life and family
Your first declaration will ensure that the light of the Lord Jesus Christ shines on you.
1. I will receive Jesus Christ, the true light of Christmas, in my heart.
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.
(Isaiah 9:2 NKJV)
Walk in the light and the darkness will never overshadow you.
2. I will seek the most excellent way
During this Christmas season do not focus on the material gifts but focus on the gift of love because this is the most excellent gifts (1 Corinthians 12:31).
God is pleased with us when we love each other (John 13:34-35).

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
(1 Corinthians 13:2 NKJV)
3. I will commit to righteousness
The examples that Christ left for us to follow are to live a godly life, live peaceable with everyone, return good for evil, commit yourself to God and trust in Him.
For to this, you were called because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: “Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth”; who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed for you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
(1 Peter 2:21-25 NKJV)
4. I will patiently endure trials
It is hard to endure trials but God will sustain and strengthen you during suffering and persecution.
During those difficult times remain in the presence of God.
You can have hope knowing that the Lord will never leave or forsake you. He is a present help in times of trouble (Psalms 46:1).
Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
(Romans 12:10-13 NKJV)
According to the above verse, during difficult times we should practice the following:
Be kind to each other and love each other.
Be selfless and live by the Spirit and not by the flesh.
Serve the Lord, rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, pray steadfastly and give to those in need.
These practices exemplify the spirit of Christmas.
5. I will wait for the early and latter rain
The Farmer has to wait patiently for the seeds to grow after he planted them.
The Farmer also knows that he will receive abundant crop when he waits for the early and latter rain.

We also need to wait for our early and latter rain, which signify the blessings of the Lord.
You will be satisfied with the fruits of your labor and you will receive the oil and the wine (Deuteronomy 11:13-15).
So during this Christmas season wait patiently on the Lord, be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart (Psalms 27:14).
Therefore, be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord, is at hand.
(James 5:7-12 NKJV)
The Lord also promised that your latter days will be better than the beginning (Job 8:7; Haggai 2:9).
The Bible also states that the end of a thing is better than the beginning (Ecclesiastes 7:8-9).
Therefore, there is no need to fear old age because you will never be once a man and twice a child, in Jesus name.
6. I will trust in the Lord
God promised to bless Abraham with a child.
The blessing took a long time to fulfill in Abraham’s life, but he continued to believe God and wait patiently on His promises.
Why was Abraham able to wait?
Abraham believed in God and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Here are seven reasons you can depend on the promises of God.
Additionally, God cannot lie, and His spoken Word will not return to Him void.
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19 NKJV)
For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
(Hebrews 6:13-15 NKJV)
Abraham finally obtained the promise because he waited patiently on the Lord.
7. I will give thanks in everything.
Regardless of your circumstances give thanks to the Lord.
You might not have enough money during this Christmas season or you might not receive the gifts that you want but give God thanks anyway.
