What happens when good leaders lead?

Examples of excellent leadership can be found in the Bible.

Indeed, if you follow the footsteps of Christ you will learn all the qualities that a great leader should possess.

When leaders lead with integrity the people will offer their service willingly (Judges 5:2).

A consistent leader will not lead his people into confusion (Exodus 13:17).

A righteous leader will bring joy to his people.

The Greatest Leader

Although we elect men to govern us on earth our ultimate leader is God – our Father.

We can follow Him because He will lead us in His righteousness (Psalms 5:8).

The Lord will lead us in green pastures beside still waters where you will be fully satisfied (Psalms 23).

God will lead us in truth and teach us His ways (Psalms 25:5).

If parents forsake us the Lord will take care of us and lead us on a smooth path (Psalms 27:10-11).

The light of the Lord Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word will lead and guide us in the this world of darkness and deception (Psalms 43:3).

When we are feeling overwhelmed, the Lord will lead us to the great Rock of our salvation (Psalms 61:2).

We can never flee from the presence of God. Wherever we go and in whatever situation we find ourselves the Lord will find us and lead us back on the path of righteousness.

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.

(Psalms 139:7-10)

Even if we make our bed in hell the Lord will find us and lead us out.

He is willing to leave the ninety-nine sheep that are safe in the pasture to search for the one lost little lamb.

The Lord is willing to search our hearts to cleanse any form of corruption and iniquities and give us a clean heart and lead us to everlasting life (Psalms 139:23-24)

What happens when bad leaders lead?

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.

(Proverbs 29:2)

The earth is eagerly awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19,22).

Oppression weighs heavily upon the land and the blood of innocent victims cries out to God to avenge their lives.

Deception and immorality have taken over the society and the earth itself is burdened with the curses that men have accumulated upon it.

The earth groans and the people mourns because of bad leadership.

Therefore, the sons of God need to rise up and take control over the affairs of this earth.
