Twelve Remarkable Gifts From God That Are Keeping You Alive
At the end of the great flood that destroyed the entire earth, the Lord placed a rainbow in the sky as a covenant between Himself and humanity that He will never again curse the ground because of sinful men, neither will He destroy every living thing with a flood (Genesis 8:21; 9:15).
This is an assurance that we have in the Lord that It is not His will that any of us should perish but that we all repent of our sins.
The Lord gave us two choices in this world – life or death.
He encourages us to choose life so that we and our children will be blessed and live to enjoy the abundance upon this earth that He has promised us (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Truly, this earth is rich and overflowing with wonderful things that God provided for us to enjoy.
Therefore, let us take some time to remind ourselves of some of the wonderful things that God has already given to us.
Twelve Blessings that the Lord has given us
1) The blessings of Abraham
The Lord made an everlasting covenant with Abraham to bless those who bless him and to curse those who curse him and through him all the descendants of the earth will be blessed (Genesis 12:3; 17:7).
Ask of Me, and I will give you The nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.
(Psalms 2:8 NKJV)
2) Health
When we are obedient to the Word of God and remain sheltered in His secret place, Satan cannot attack us with the evil spirit of infirmity.
The Lord wants us to be prosperous and be in good health even as our soul prospers (3 John 1:2).
References: Exodus 15:26

3) Relationship
The Lord told Moses that He will meet and speak with him from above the mercy seat between the two cherubim on the Ark of the Testimony (Exodus 25:22).
This means that the Lord speaks to us from a foundation of mercy.
Jesus Christ is our mediator between God and men and has become the foundation of grace and mercy.
Thus, we can count on the mercy of God (Psalms 23:6).
4) The presence of The Lord
The presence of the Lord will go with you and give you rest (Exodus 33:14).
The Lord said that He will be with you in the midst of trials and in the fiery furnace.
5) Seasonal blessings
You will receive the former and latter rain in its season so that you will produce seasonal fruits for the Lord (Leviticus 26:3-8).
Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you—The former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
(Joel 2:23 NKJV)

6) Peace
In the world, you will have tribulation but you will have peace in Jesus knowing that He has overcome the world (John 16:33).
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27 NIV).
7) Protection
Because we are precious in God’s sight He will trade others for our lives and honor us (Isaiah 43::4).
The Lord is our refuge and strength and a present help in times of trouble (Psalms 46:1).
We serve a faithful God who will establish and guard us against the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
8) A new heart and spirit
The Lord will remove the stony hearts and replace them with flesh.
Anyone who is a believer in Christ has become a new person because the Lord remove the old life in exchange for a brand new one (2 Corinthians 5:17).
9) Keys to the kingdom of heaven
With this key, whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19).
Jesus has the keys to death and hell which means that He controls the forces of darkness (Revelation 1:18).
Jesus was also given the keys of David which is a symbol of ultimate authority.
Therefore, no one can close whatever door He has opened for us and no one can open the doors that He closed (Revelation 3:7).

10) Wisdom and revelation
Anyone who lacks wisdom can ask the Lord for His Spirit of wisdom and revelation.
We need the wisdom to live peacefully in this world.
11) The crown of life
Our final reward from the Lord Jesus Christ, when He returns, is a crown of life.
We receive life when we were born into this world and God promised us everlasting life with Him through Jesus Christ.
12) Love
The greatest gift that God has given us is love.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16 NKJV)
