Let Us Praise The Lord Together

1–2 minutes

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. (Psalms 103:1-2)

Sometimes we need to take a minute to reflect on all the goodness of the Lord and praise Him for His many blessings towards us.

Let us praise the Lord!

Thank you, Lord, that you are not slack concerning your promise to forgive all our sins because it is not your will that any of us should perish but that we all repent of our sins (2 Peter 3:9).

Thank you, Lord, that you are our healer, and it is your desire that we live in good health and prosperity even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2).

Lord, thank you that you redeem our lives from destruction. Once we were living in darkness but now, we are light in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Once we were nobody but now, we are sons and daughters of the most-high God (Ephesians 5:8).

Once we were insignificant people but now, we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9-10)

Thank you, that you crown us with loving kindness and tender mercies because your compassion never fails, and it is renewed every morning. Great is your faithfulness! (Lam. 3:22-23).

We praise you, Father, because you are a refuge for the fatherless and the oppressed and you are a refuge in times of trouble (Psalms 9:9; 10:18).

Thank you, Lord, that you always remember how fragile we are and so your mercy towards us never ends. It is from everlasting to everlasting.

So, we bless you, O Lord, and we rejoice in your holy name.

Amen!

      4. Glad to know that everything went well in honor of your mom. Her precious memories will live on in your heart. Sometimes the memories will bring tears and other times laughter. My mom died in 2008 and every now then the memories will sometimes bring tears but most times it is joy. Are you back at work or did you get some days off from work?

      5. Thanks for sharing that about your mom. I know it’s been awhile but sorry for your loss too. I have found encouragement from the testimony of others, like you, who have already been walking this road. I know some days will be better than others for sure. I am back to work. I had off for the first 5 days after she died last month. That’s what the company gave. And I took off the day before the memorial service.
