  1. Prayer is powerful, even if we do not fully believe. The people praying thought Peter was his angel. God hears and answers!

Yes, prayer is very powerful. More than 40 years ago, when my children were young, a man came toward us yelling “You are all going to die!” He had his hands raised like he was going to kill us with his bare hands. The only weapon I had was prayer. I raised my hands toward heaven and began praying loudly. Immediately, something that looked like a see-through, pulsating force field came down between the violent man and me and my 3 small children. The man walked into the pulsating field, and it looked like he had hit a glass wall. Then he was thrown high up into the air, and slammed down, hard, on his back. My children and I were safe!!! Thank You, Lord Jesus!!!!

    2. Wow, prayer produces power.
I love these testimonies and the scripture theat came to me after reading this comment is James 5:16
The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]

God’s grace is so amazing. I am very unworthy of such a miracle, probably more unworthy than most people. God’s answer to my prayer in that moment was pure grace.

  4. Thank you, for this investment concerning prayer.
People are not praying because they don’t know the power of prayer that much.
Prayer shifts spiritual climate even when you are hopeless like the disciples after the death of their master

    1. You are so right. I find that the church is not focusing on prayer. We need to make our lives filled with prayer and intercession and not just when we desperately need things.

      1. Amen.
The enemy is offering something things to occupy those moments we should be praying.
