Taking Charge Of Your Destiny

2–3 minutes

The beginning of the school year can be nerve-racking for our kids who are returning to school, college, or any other educational institution for the first time.

The younger children are terrified of leaving their familiar home and the comforting care of their parents. At the same time, the older kids are excited to gain some freedom and independence from their parents.

On the other hand, parents are terrified to see their kids go to college for the first time. For both parents and kids, the future appeared uncertain but God has it covered so pray the following prayer over your children to bring forth their destiny in God.

Heavenly Father, Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain! In Jesus name. Amen (1 Chronicles 4:10)

Father God, help me to be fruitful and bring forth abundantly in my family, community and the nation in general. Let the blessings of Abraham, which are multiplication and honor be applied to my life and my descendants forever.

Pour your spirit of wisdom and revelation upon my life so that I will obey your Word and keep your commandments. Help me to always walk in humility and obedience to your Word.

Thank you that your love and mercy upon my life is forever. Thank you for blessing me with good health in my body, soul, and spirit and with a sound mind. Thank you for your daily provision of food, shelter and clothing. Thank you for providing me with a job and for increasing the labor of my hands.

Thank you, Lord, for giving me abundant blessings, for removing barrenness from life, for removing every sickness and diseases from my body and for preventing viruses and bacteria and every form of illness from attacking my household.

Thank you, Lord, for rebuking the devour for my sake and for giving me the strength to stand firm fully clothed in my battle attire of salvation, faith, righteousness, truth, peace and the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God. You are my God and Father, and I will continue to serve and trust you. In Jesus name Amen.

Thank you, Lord.

    1. Indeed, it is a hectic time. I just returned from Florida where I accompanied my son back to college. It was a tiring week helping him to move in his dorm. The elevator broke down and he was on the fourth floor.😓

      1. Oh no! A broken elevator is no fun on dorm move in day. Hope he is settling in to the new school year well. I think my daughter lived in every dorm on campus during her college years except two lol. How are you doing? I know you miss him.

      2. Yes, carrying those bags up 4 flights of stairs was terrible but they fix the elevator the following day. My son likes the dorm he is in. He does not want to change. I hope you had a wonderful holiday yesterday.
