Past Mistakes Are No more

1–2 minutes

You are guaranteed acceptance.

mistakes

By accepting Christ as your Savior, you have essentially nailed all your sins including your past mistakes at the cross. Your sins died with Him at the cross and you are reborn to a new life in Christ.

In thisΒ theΒ loveΒ ofΒ GodΒ was manifested toward us, thatΒ GodΒ has sent His only begotten Son intoΒ the world, that we might live through Him. (1 John 4:9)

In spite of our faithlessness Jesus will remain faithful because His love is unconditional.

This isΒ a faithful saying: For if we died withΒ Him, we shall also live withΒ Him. If we endure, we shall also reign withΒ Him. If we denyΒ Him, He also will deny us. Β If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. (2 Timothy 2:11-13)

The love of God is great and it surpasses all knowledge. This means our human mind cannot understand God’s love for us. It is only through a personal relationship with Him will we be able to experience and comprehend his love.

The love of God will compel us to live a clean life which is not according to the flesh but according to the Holy Spirit.

When Christ dwells in your heart He will remove the past mistakes and restore a new life in you.Β

  3. Jesus came to set the captives free, so if we dwell on the past, we are dwelling on something already forgiven and set free from.

  7. So insightful, God’s love cannot be processed by the human mind, a relationship with Him is required to know and fully experience the breadth, length, height and depth of His love

    1. We definitely need a relationship with the Lord to understand His love for us. The natural man cannot understand the deeper things of the Spirit.
