Reaching Your Destination
How can you reach your destination?
Do you know your destination?
Before you can reach your destination you must know where you are going.
God told Abraham to leave the comfort of his familiar homeland to go to a place where he had never been before and where he did not know the way.
But, he obeyed God and packed his belongings and his entire family to journey to a land that he hope to reach by faith.
The Bible states that he looked for a city whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11).
That is an enormous faith because we know that God does not build any physical structures on earth.
God is calling each of us to take a journey of faith to a new destination.
This place is not a physical city but it is a spiritual place where God dwells. The Lord said that ye that dwells in the secret place of the highest will abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Pslams 91).
This secret place will protect you from the enemy and it will shelter and sustain you during times of trials.
The Lord wants to take you to that place so get ready to journey with Him to your new destination.
You will know when you arrive at your destination because in that place the beast of the earth cannot harm you.
You will discover that, at your destination, you will be fed during famine and no pestilences will come near your dwelling places.
You have reached your destination when your light shines brightly and men begin to seek the Lord because of your examples.
You have reached your destination when you are no longer afraid of the terror at night or the arrow that flies in the darkness.
You have reached your destination when love, power, and a sound mind become your character.
You have reached your destination when the will of God becomes the forefront of your life.
Rest assured that the Lord is faithful to take you to your destination so just follow His lead.
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. (Isaiah 42:16) Says the Lord.
Psalms 91- My favorite!! My secret place is reading God’s word, prayer, and listening to worship music. satan can plot and plan all he wants, but his short arms can’t reach me in my secret place. My Lord is My Strong Tower!! Thanks Beverley💕

Thanks for the reminder that we can not get comfortable in one place. God is stretching us and wants our faith to grow. We must be ready to go to the next level.
