For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalms 30: 5 NKJV)

There are some things in life that are temporary and they are sorrow, hopelessness, and the anger of the Lord

On the other hand, there are some things that will last forever and they are love, joy, and the favor of the Lord.

When we are going through some dark situation it seems as if it will last forever. But the Word of the Lord is telling us that the night will not last.

Depending on your geographical location there are ten to twelve hours in the night after which the sun must rise in the east.

It was ordained by God that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west from the beginning of time.

The sun cannot decide one day that it is feeling too lazy to rise this morning. It must rise!

Therefore, let the established pattern of the sun be your motivator to assure you that your joy will come with the rising of the sun.

The night will not last!

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. (Genesis 8:22)

To the people of Ukraine who are running to and fro seeking shelter from the ravages of war, your dilemma will not last.

Your setback is only temporary. So hold on with hope in your heart because in one night God will dismantle the plots of the enemy and restore your joy in the morning.

You may be going through pain and grief or entangled in the bondage of fear.

You may be toiling all night without seeing the results of your labor.

There is still hope because, during the night of your troubles, glorious things are happening that you cannot conceive.

During the night, the Lord will smite the enemy and they will flee in seven different directions (2 Kings 19:35; Deuteronomy 28:7).

In the night, God will break into pieces the mighty men (your oppressors) and overrun them until they are destroyed.

Your prison door will open in the night as you pray and sing praises 👏 to the Lord.

Therefore, watch and pray while the night lasts because at the fourth watch of the night Jesus will manifest His presence walking on the waters of your troubles.

Don’t give up during the night because Jesus is the light of the world and He shines brightly even in the darkness.

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. (Psalms 139:11-12)

The night will not last!

The Lord is faithful even in the night and will show you His lovingkindness in the morning.

So wait on the Lord and He will renew your strength so that you will see your joy in the morning.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. (Revelation 21:25)

And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever. (Revelation 22:5)

The night will not last!
