  1. Thank you for this post! I have experienced writer’s block and what worked for me was focusing more on the beauty of nature and then study of the word. Also reading other books helps too! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Yes, nature has a way of calming your nerves. Studying the Bible will definitely gives you inspiration especially if your blog is about teaching the Word of God. Thanks for sharing. I hope your week is going great so far.

    1. Great! Those are excellent ideas. Do you prefer to sew by machine or your hand? I prefer hand sewing. The machine gives me stress.

      4. It has become a tropical storm heading for Florida. It has passed us and is now over Hispaniola. We had rain and a little wind but it was not too bad.

I love to sew by hand, too! I haven’t sewn in a while though! Nothing elaborate or anything. I have sewn two baby quilts by hand. (The kind that already has the batting in it, and you sew the bias tape around the edges)

    1. Okay. I know those kits. I use to sew them for my children when they were babies. I love to sew tote bags with my hands. Now I am sewing some masks for my family.

  6. Thank you for the suggestions for overcoming writer’s block. I’m not sure I’ve experienced true writer’s block, but I have gone through seasons where I’ve looked at a blank screen/page. Thankfully, that season didn’t last too long. Something I need to start praying for is a friend who likes to write, too. My friends and I share many common interests, but writing is not one of them.

  7. When I get writers block it usually means I’m trying to force the story into a direction it shouldn’t go. That when I sit back, pray about it, thnk about it, and pretty soon I have the direction it should go.

    1. That is so true! It happens to me also especially when I am not inspired by the Holy Spirit to write and I just want to publish a post. Prayer does help. Thank you for sharing.
