Mother’s Day is here again!
Today we celebrate our mothers – women who give love to children.
Indeed, mothers are facing some challenging times.
So I want to take this opportunity to share some encouraging scripture verses to help brighten our mothers on this special day.
The Lord will fight your battle
And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites. (Joshua 3:10)
Read: Cast out the nations out of your Promised Land.
The Lord will take care of your children.
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthrw 19:14)
Your children will never forsake you when you surrender them to the Lord
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
You will rejoice in the blessings of the Lord.
But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. (Psalms 5:11-12)
Your faith will make you whole
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. (Matthew 15:28)
The Lord will not foraske your good work
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6)
Women received their dead raised to life again: (Hebrews 11:35A)
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25-26)
