Guidelines for Bee Love Award:

  1. Attach the Bee Love Award logo on the top of your post, or you can use it as the post’s featured image.
  2. Pingback to my site.
  3. Thank you to your fellow blogger who nominated you.
  4. Nominate your fellow bloggers.
  5. Write your definition of true love.

My Definition of LOVE:

Love is the essence of God. He is the definition of true love and He is love. Without God (love) the universe would collapse.

During my younger days, I searched for love in the wrong places until God found me and demonstrate to me the definition of true love.

Love is kind, compassionate, selfless and satisfying.

With the love of God in our hearts, we will be able to love our neighbors as ourselves, love our enemies, bless them that curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for them who despitefully use and persecute us (Matthew 5:44).

My nominations

Dawn – Drawing Closer to Christ

Matt – Jesusluvsall blog

Mrs. Holliman – God’s Love

Barb – My life in our Father’s world

Maurice – Soul renewed

Fay Ann Swearing – The Inspirational Room

Crystal Boggs – Facing life in Christ

Gail loves God

Just a Jesus Girl

Congratulations to all the nominees!

I hope you will be able to participate because I would love to hear how you feel about love and perhaps you can share your experience with love.

Be ye, therefore, followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. (Ephesians 5:1-4)

  1. Congrats Beverly! I can relate to looking for love in all the wrong places. Spending time in God’s Word deepens my understanding of who God is, who I am in Him, and why contentment can only be found in Him.

    • Thank you, Kim. I so agree with you that the more time we spend in God’s Word the better we know Him and the stronger our relationship. It is good whe we spend time to know God first before we seek for love in other places. Thank you for sharing.
