My Definition of LOVE:
Love is the essence of God. He is the definition of true love and He is love. Without God (love) the universe would collapse.
During my younger days, I searched for love in the wrong places until God found me and demonstrate to me the definition of true love.
Love is kind, compassionate, selfless and satisfying.
With the love of God in our hearts, we will be able to love our neighbors as ourselves, love our enemies, bless them that curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for them who despitefully use and persecute us (Matthew 5:44).
My nominations
Dawn – Drawing Closer to Christ
Barb – My life in our Father’s world
Fay Ann Swearing – The Inspirational Room
Crystal Boggs – Facing life in Christ
Congratulations to all the nominees!
I hope you will be able to participate because I would love to hear how you feel about love and perhaps you can share your experience with love.
Be ye, therefore, followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. (Ephesians 5:1-4)
