The Lord spoke to Moses above the mercy seat on the Ark of the Testimony.
Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him. (Numbers 7:89NKJV)
The mercy seat was the foundation of mercy that represented the mediator between God and mankind.
This mercy is unconditional and it prevent sinful man from being consumed by the glory of God.
Yet for many years You had patience with them, and testified against them by Your Spirit in Your prophets. Yet they would not listen; Therefore You gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands. Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful.(Numbers 9:30-31NKJV)
Jesus Christ has become the mediator between God and men, and has become the foundation of grace and mercy.
Consequently, you can trust in the mercy of God.
But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because He has dealt bountifully with me. (Psalms 13:5-6NKJV)
You can count on God’s goodness and mercy.
In spite of the dangers that are around, you can depend on God’s guidance and protection.
Your ultimate reward will be a table filled with overflowing blessings in the presence of your enemies.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalms 23:6NKJV)
You can rejoice in the mercy of God.
I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy, for you have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities, and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place. (Psalms 31:7-8NKJV)
The path of the Lord is mercy, truth and righteousness.
Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore, He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. For Your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity, for it is great. (Psalms 25:8-11)
The Lord will always lead you on the path of righteousness.
Amen!
