This is by far my favorite post, and Psalm 91 is my favorite Psalm, with Psalm 37 as a close second. Excellent and beautifully illustrated. As I read it, it brought great comfort in knowing how our Heavenly Father gives us shelter and protection from all forms of weapons that come against His children, as we abide under the shadow of His wings. In addition, as we mature in our walk, absorbing His Word of Truth with wisdom and understanding, He enables us to tread upon our enemies in His strength. Powerful message, which means we should never leave God out of the equation of our lives. Blessings will abound. Thank you Beverley. ♡

    1. Amen. Well said, Susan. Psalms 91 is also my favorite psalms. It emphasized the relationahip that we need to have with our Creator to receive all the benefits. It is indeed comforting. I pray that you will have a great day.

  10. My apartment complex occasionally had ducks walking with their babies. You could see how protective the mother was. I’m glad the Lord watches over us the same way.

    1. It is amazing to watch these birds take care of their young ones. It is a natural instinct that God placed in them. Thanks for sharing.

  11. The first allusion to any animal in creationism is the bird: mother bird. God had purposed to take the best care of the Christian species of the humanity when the Scripture says, “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” The ‘moved’ is an interesting rachaph (raw-khaf’) ‘1. to brood 2. (by implication) to be relaxed.’ Is it not the same Spirit that is present on the day of our regeneration. The Spirit brooded on, supplied all the energy that will take care of the Adamic race. It’s so apropos for His promise to calm and relaxed us with, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Thank You Jesus for being our Gladiator. Thank You for giving Beverley this wisdom to teach the Word on the cyber space.
