  1. After many years in the desert solitude with Jesus I have come to the conclusion that the Internet and social media is just one long sustained riot. The vast majority of people are hell bent on pursuing ‘self’ to the utter destruction of themselves and those around them. To leave temporarily or permanently is the question.

    1. You have just hit the nail on the head! Facebook especially is the biggest riot of all. Even though I have a Facebook page I deliberately stay away from it most of the time. There is too much competition and pretense. As you said they are all about “self” May God have mercy on us. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Powerful Message Bev! For a day or so Abba’s led me to the book of 2 Kings, where he began showing me Elisha’s ministry began. As we walked He taught me how He used the many miracles to validate Elisha’s ministry. I think back over the years, walking through my own personal wilderness, having these feelings of rejection and ridicule, but Abba powerfully didn’t let the noise of the riot deter me from walking in my God-ordained destiny! He’s used ALL OF IT to equip and prepare me for His purpose! Whew! This message is powerful and I know it’s from the Lord! Abba, we thank you for these words of affirmation!

    1. Praise God. He is truely awesome. I too have been battling with the spirit of rejection but the Lord has been assuring me that whoever He called He equipped. As you said we can’t allow the noise of the riot prevent us from fulfilling our Godgiven purpose. Thank you for sharing your testimony.

  3. Jesus always sets a great example for us. He understands what it’s like to follow God’s path for your life, even when people come against you for doing so. Sadly at times it’s other Christians who try and hinder your progress.

    1. Dawn, you are so right. The competition is not from the unsave, it is from your own brethren who sits beside you in church praising God with you. They are among the protestors. They did it to Jesus so we should expect that they will do it to us also. It is, therefore, imperative that we continue to hold on to the promises of God and do not allow the noise around us to hinder our progress.
