Lord, How Excellent Is Your Name In All The Earth!
In keeping with my plan to have a fun staycation, my family and I went to the beach yesterday afternoon.
We spent some quality time relaxing in the therapeutic seawater.
Then we had our dinner.
My daughter spent the time doing a photoshoot to build up her portfolio. She is an aspiring fashion designer.

We also visited the historical ruins in Brewers Bay.
Overall, the afternoon was well spent and we returned home after 6pm quite rejuvenated.
While I was relaxing in the sea, I looked at the surrounding beauty of God’s creation and couldn’t help wondering what is a man that God should be mindful of him.
I could relate with the psalmist who considered the heavens, the work of the fingers of God.
He looked at the sun and moon, the magnificent elements that God ordained and he was awestruck.
Then, the psalmist looked at himself and reflected on his failures and shortcomings and wondered what did God see in his human frailties that caused Him to care.
What manner of love that God had that He would visit us in our darkest time of need to pull us out of the grasping hands of hell?
What was it that prompted God to create man a little lower than the angels, yet crowned him with glory and honor?
Imagine, God gave man whom He had created from the dust of the earth, dominion over all the works of His hands and then placed everything (the birds of the air, beasts of the field, the fishes of the seas and even principalities and demonic powers) under his feet.
O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is your name in all the earth! (Psalms 8:9)
God has placed even His name in the essence of our being – I AM who I AM.
Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow!
It is good to reflect on the things that God has brought you through and simply give Him thanks.
You may be at a place where you are still trusting the Lord for a miracle in your life.
Don’t give up, don’t be discouraged, just remember where God has brought you from and think about the destiny where He is taking you.
Then, give God thanks and praise.
I guarantee that your mood will be cheerier and your burdens lighter.
Have a blessed day!
