  2. It is such a blessing reading your blog today Bev.

For as we focus our eyes and open our ears to what the Spirit of God is leading us to understand in our relationship to the One true living and eternal God, we will increase our understanding of what true humility is — by His own example of sending His only begotten Son into the world to pay the full penalty of sin that separated us from Him. For humility is not weakness — as man sees it — but strength and power of God restrained by His grace. That is why in our weakness (insufficiency) — He demonstrates to us and the world that He is the sovereign “I AM”.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
    2 Corinthians 12:9-11

    1. Hi Candice. Your insight on humility is right on target. Most times we believe that humility is weakness but it is the opposite. It takes a strong and confident person to humble themselves to admit their faults and seek help. We can learn to be humble by the example of Jesus Christ. Thank you for sharing and do enjoy the rest of your day,
