How faithful is our God?

Let us reflect on some of the ways that the Lord demonstrated His faithfulness.

God keeps His covenant and mercy to those who love Him and keeps His commandment. God will extend this covenant to a thousand generations.

One example is shown in the covenant God kept with Abraham to make him the father of a great nation (Genesis 17).

The Lord is a God whose words are alive and His promises are true.

The Lord honored His promise to the children of Israel who inherited the Promised Land (Joshua 1).

The Lord is merciful who is not willing that anyone should perish. He is quick to forgive and restore when you repent of your sins.

David committed an evil crime, but when He repented of his sins the Lord forgave and restored him (2 Samuel 11).

God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and save us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

The Lord was faithful when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in heavenly places far above all principalities, powers, might, and dominion.

In addition, God gave Him a name that is above every name that is named; that at the name of Jesus Christ, every knee will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God – the Father.

Hallelujah!

The Lord is faithful in renewing His mercy and compassion every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

God has proven time and again, throughout every generation, His faithfulness to mankind.

Since God has proven Himself faithful, He can definitely solve your daily problems.

God will provide your daily sustenance and He will deliver you from the traps of the enemy.

The Lord will not give you more than you can bear.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Therefore, you can sing aloud the mercies of the Lord and make known His faithfulness to all generation.

Forever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. (Psalms 119:89-90)
