When your work can only purchase food and water, you are laboring in vain!

Since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, man has to labor for the food that he eats. By the sweat of his brow, he shall eat bread (Genesis 3:19).

The food that we eat nourishes the body but it is not permanent because it will only last six hours in the digestive system and then it is eliminated.

The natural food is temporary sustenance. 

But, there is another food that will endure forever. You can only obtain this food through the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 1:1-5)

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (John 6:35)

Can you trust your drinking water? Is it able to satisfy your thirst forever?

The natural water only quenches your thirst temporarily. But, there is another water that after you drink it will be like an everlasting spring bubbling inside of you.

You will never thirst again!

 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4: 13-14)

You can rely on the refreshing and everlasting water of the Holy Spirit.

Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.” (John 6:27)
