  4. This is so good! We wrestle a lot with these “nations” and don’t realize how much our heart posture blocks our blessings. We need to release these things and replace them with what God says! Love love love this post

    1. Thank God that this post has been a blessing to you. It has also blessed me tremendously. Sometimes we think that we have overcome some stuff in our lives, but we have not. That is why it is so important that we ask the Lord to search our hearts and cleanse it from the things that are not of Him. Thank you for visiting and sharing and have a great week in the Lord

  5. Keep persevering you are on the right track. Don’t forget that it took the Israelites 40 years in the wilderness. I use to think; how could they allow that. Until I realized it was taking me an even longer time to get past some things in my life. I would also think in terms of financial blessings but not so much so now, as I see all the intangible ways in which God has blessed me. As you know God is very patient, so you may stay at this point for sometime until He sees fit to move you to another level. The sooner you learn your lessons, the sooner you move.

Nicely put. I will be 66 next month and can hardly believe how fast the years have gone by, and there are times I still struggle with insecurities, but yet in the midst of these days I am used by God to be an encourager to someone else, which amazes me and gives great joy to the giver and receiver in that moment. That could only be the Holy Spirit. I suppose those are the times when I am weak, and He is strong. I know it’s not about me, it’s about His Love and patience with me, when I am not patient with myself, and to trust that God will strengthen me to overcome those personal giants I need to conquer. This was a great message, very well researched and what you said mycreatorscreation, touched my heart. God bless.

      1. You don’t look a day older than 25☺and that is because of the Holy Spirit of God who lives inside your heart. The Lord is able to keep you fresh and young inspite of your trials. When we encourage each other as we are doing now the burden seemed to get lighter. This is what God wants us to do when He said confess our faults one to another that we may be healed. I felt strengthened by all the encouragements that I have received on this post. You and all of my blogging friends have been more than a blessing in my life. Thank you!

    2. Amen. The Israelites took forty years because they were stubborn. We will not take forty years because we are the blessed generation who believe even though we do not see signs and wonders like the Israelites. The Lord likes to teach us patience and that is the reason He wants us to wait. Thank you for reminding me of this. Your encouragements are a blessing to me. Have a blessed day.

  6. We are here upon this earth so briefly in our finite state. To see, hear and obey even when we don’t understand the why and when at times—are the moments most precious to God and beneficial to our spiritual growth in Him.

“For in Him we live and move and have our being. … ‘We are His offspring,’”Acts 17:28. Therefore, “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid or dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go,” Joshua 1:9.

Remember the giants in the land are also merely specks of dusk in the hands of our Mighty and Sovereign God!

Therefore we are more than conquerors—we are the children of the Most High God. His promises are forever true and renewed EVERY morning. No one and nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:38.

    1. Amen and Amen. Hallelujah! Confirmation of the word. I especially like the fact that the giants are just spec of dust in the eyes of God. Thank you, Lord that you are bigger than the nations and mightier than the universe that you created. Thank you, Candice for these encouraging words and God bless you.

Awesome reply, Candace, as well as encouraged my spirit. I’ve referred those very scriptures to others for an encouragement to them as well. ♡

  7. My pleasure dear sister. I have learned throughout my walk of faith and obedience that seeing all things from the Lord’s prospective always brings peace, assurance and strength.

  8. I would say doubt is one of my enemies. It’s not so much I doubt God, it is I doubt what he has put in me.

I know what you mean. Those little foxes of doubt and discouragement can get to us if we don’t keep fortified in the Word of God. Continue in Gods blessings, Joseph.

  9. I found this blog by the grace of my holy father. It’s as if I wrote myself a letter from the near future. I’m 51, male and was given the gift of faith over 7 years ago. I have at times walked with the holy spirit and have witnessed amazing things. The pattern I have repeated over and over, is to fall by one or more of the “nations” you explained. I still live a life of financial self defeat. I have, by the holy spirit received instructions to be wealthy yet do not seek to increase my wealth for fear of temptation and losing my way. The other great fear comes each time I approach, I’m not sure how to explain this: truly submitting, loving, becoming Christ like in my thoughts and actions…
I once over came this fear, 7 years ago, after a week of amazing events I retreated to the more comfortable, though more miserable life of living righteously but not submissive to God’s will.
Tonight, I am thankful for my holy father and his continuous love. I give praise and glory to God in all circumstances, for it is his will and only by his will am I quickened.
If you are of Christ then we are of one mind and spirit.
