Light My Lamp

Your Word, O Lord, is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path.

Your lamp will burn continually in my heart to remove the darkness of sin.

The lamp of the Lord will shine upon my head so that I can walk through darkness.

The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be extinguished.

Like the wise virgins, the oil for my lamp will never run dry.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:15-16)

  1. Thank you for your blog, I just discovered it and some of what I have read so far is good. I am getting back I to blogging after the recent death of my dad. I believe we all are on this website for a reason and can help others. Thank you again for being that light. 🙂

      • Thank you, it has been a journey and I have realized that I have not been taught how to deal with emotions and work through them. I will be talking about this more in blogs to come.
