Exihibiting a meek character is not weakness.
It is, in fact, a form of strength and endurance.
Meeknes is living in the presence of God until your face shines with the glory of God yet is able to maintain a humble spirit that is pleasing to God.
(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.) ( Numbers 12:3)
Meeknes is having the power to rule the enemy with a rod of iron and to smite them with the sword of His mouth but still maintain a quiet and gently spirit to save, heal, deliver and restore.
But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. (Isaiah 11:4)
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-29)
Seeking after God and His righteousness, maintaining a life of integrity and upholding justice in spite of being persecuted and afflicted is demonstrating meeknes.
Meeknes is the willingness to lay aside all filthiness and all wickedness, and to humble receive the the implanted Word of God, which is able to save your souls. It is the willingnes to practice the Word of God.
Meeknes is having the wisdom, understanding and knowledge of the Lord but is humble in your work and the way you treat others.
Meeknes is having a sanctified heart. Equipping yourself with the Word of God so that you are always ready to defend your faith with gentleness, humility, reverence, respect and calmness.
Meeknes is allowing God to adorn your inner being with the beauty of humility, quietness, gentleness and submissivness.
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
It is a blessing to be meek because you will inherit everlasting life on earth.
But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (Psalm 37:11)
