The Joshua Generation
Christians can be divided into two types of generation depending on their faithfulness to God.
Which generation are you?
Are you the Joshua or the Jonah generation?
Throughout the years, I have heard many Christians claimed that they are the Joshua generation.

This is the generation that will possess the Promise Land and walk in their divine destiny.
Who was Joshua?
We were first introduced to Joshua in Exodus 17: 10 as a mighty warrior who fought the Amalekites fearlessly.
Joshua was the son of Nun and a faithful assistant of Moses. He Followed Moses wherever he went even to the top of mount Sinai.
Joshua’s fervent desire was to receive the mantle of Moses. He wanted to speak face to face with the Lord, similar to Moses, so he never left the tabernacle of God (Exodus 33:11).
Joshua was addicted to the Lord.
After the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, the people wandered for forty years in the wilderness.

The generation who left Egypt could not enter God’s rest because of their unbelief and disobedience, so they perished in the desert except Caleb and Joshua.
These two men were among the twelve spies who explored the land of Canaan.
But, while the others saw themselves as grasshoppers in comparison to the giants in the Land and cowered in fear, Caleb and Joshua were eager to tackle the giants.
They tried to persuade the people.
Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”
(Numbers 14:9 NKJV)
Eventually, the Lord anointed Joshua to lead the Israelites after the death of Moses (Numbers 27:18-22).
He courageously led the children of Israel to victory across Jordon and possessed the Promise Land.
The Joshua Generation
There is a generation of people today who are claiming the mantle of Joshua.
Are they truly deserving of this title?

Let us examine the characteristics that they must possess to be worthy of this prestigious position.
The Joshua Generation must be hungry for the Word of God.
They must be obedient with a humble spirit and willing to serve in whatever capacity that they are called.
The Joshua generation must be a mighty warrior who is ready to face the giants.
The Joshua generation must be fearless and courageous.
This generation is anointed to receive the mantle of Moses – a faithful and humble leader who had a close relationship with God.
The Joshua generation is walking in their divine destiny.

Are you part of the Joshua Generation?.
Are you walking in your divine destiny?
Do you know the plan that God has for your life?
Are you satisfied with the relationship that you presently have with God or do you think it needs improvement?
If you are not positively sure of the answers to these questions then, unfortunately, you cannot claim to be part of the Joshua Generation.
You may be among the Jonah generation, and if so, this is your season of repentance.
Therefore, repent, get on track to become the Joshua generation.

I’m not of the Joshua or the Jonah generation but of the FIG TREE GENERATION in the Order of Melchizedek as referred to the Scriptures below. I take the Lord Jesus for His Word.
“NOW LEARN a parable of the FIG TREE; (Jesus was not suggesting, He was being emphatic) When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: even at the doors. So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, that THIS GENERATION shall not pass, till all these things be done. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.”
Mark 13: 28-30
“You are My Son, today I have begotten You.’ As He also says in another place: ‘You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek . . .'” (Hebrews 5:5-6).

The fig tree generation is indeed the generation that will see the fullfilment of Christ’s word. We all are seeing evidence around us that the Lord is coming soon and we need to prepare ourselves. Thank you for telling us about this important generation and I want to believe that I am a part of this generation but I am also a part of the Joshua generation because I am living in victory, and I know you are also living a victorious life in the LORD. Much blessings.
