An Effective Armorbearer
Zipporah was the eldest of seven daughters of the priest of Median. Their father invited Moses to his house and gave him his eldest daughter to marry.
They had a son and Moses called him Gershom because he had been a stranger in a foreign land.
Zipporah was her husband’s armorbearer who protected him while he was in danger. Being an armorbearer and intercessor for your husband are two important roles of women.
Your prayers will strengthen your husband to lead effectively. The Lord will answer your prayers which come from a heart of love.
Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, “Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that theLord will work for us. For nothing restrains the Lord from saving by many or by few.”
So his armorbearer said to him, “Do all that is in your heart. Go then; here I am with you, according to your heart.” (1 Samuel 14:6-7)
