Control your feet!

They are loose and unruly.

They will run to evil and violence.

Destruction and misery are in their ways:

And they cannot find the pathway to peace.

There is no fear of God in their eyes.

Let the Son of the Highest

Guide your feet onto the way of peace.

He will make your feet like Hind’s feet,

And set you upon high places.

He will set your feet upon a rock.

He that is from the beginning, the Word,

The Word is a lamp unto your feet,

And a light unto your path.

The Word in your heart will keep

Your feet from falling.

You will walk in the light of the living.

Therefore, when you walk

Through the valley of the shadow of death,

You will fear no evil for the Lord is with you.

He will comfort you with His rod and His staff.

He will save you with his right hand.

As you walk with the Lord,

An overflowing table of blessings

You will receive in the presence of your enemies.

He will anoint your head with oil,

Your cup will overflow.

Walk before the Lord and be perfect!

Walk in obedience and live!

Walk and be healed!

“Take up your bed and walk!”

Walk in faith!

Walk in the spirit!

Walk in humility!

Finally, walk in love

Because Christ first loved us,

Walk in forgiveness,

As He has forgiven us.

How beautiful upon the mountains

Are the feet of those who bring good news,

Who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings,

Who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion,

“Your God reigns!”
