I remembered the first time I saw him.

I remembered quite clearly because it was special to me.

There were no fireworks; there was no lightening or thunder.

There was not even a spark of chemistry between us.

There was no lust, no desire and no jealousy.

The meeting came with no entrapment of fantasies.

It was real and unique.

As our world collided for a brief moment,

An overwhelming peace enveloped my being.

There was a profound sense of trust,

A calm assurance that I have finally come face to face with

All my life I thought that real love involves passion, desires, wants, urges –

All baggage of the flesh.

I once thought that love is friendship, communication, affection and loyalty.

Yes, love is all of the above but on this very special day

I found a different side of love that I never knew existed.

A type of love that is so subtle it appears insignificant.

A type of love that has become lost in our contemporary world of romantic illusions.

This kind of love is so powerful and so potent you can only identify it with your spirit.

“What is this love?” I asked myself

“Is it real or is it merely a figment of my imagination?”

As doubts and fear came rushing through my mind,

A wave of this love floods my being

And I found peace –

A peace that passes all understanding.

It engulfs my body,

Revitalize my soul and drives out the presence of

Fear from my mind.

Immediately I recognized this unusual love.

It is the spirit of God –

Christ, living in the heart of a mortal man!

This love is perfect!

This man I can trust!

This man I can love!

For this love was made in heaven.

I beseech  you O’ daughters of Zion

Have you ever seen this love?

Have you ever taste of this love?

If you have, protect it!

But if you have not

I implore you to wait for it.
