Special occasions such as Christmas or Valentine’s day are intended to bring joy and happiness to everyone, but they sometimes evoke feelings of loneliness and sadness. Mother’s day is no exception.
Society tends to define a mother as a woman who gives birth to a child and so ladies who have been struggling to conceive will feel excluded and may even become depressed.
We need to redefine motherhood and emphasize the love and nurturing that a woman gives to a child whether by adoption, foster care, teaching or babysitting.
Therefore, I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to identify these special ladies who have been teaching, babysitting or being a godmother to your children and honor them with a special gift on Mother’s Day.
Do not forget to honor all ladies who have opened their hearts and homes to a child who is in need. Also to every married woman who are unable to conceive and those who had multiple miscarriages, we lift you up and encourage you to have hope.
God has seen your pain, and He will restore all that the enemy has stolen from you in full measure, press down, shaken together and running over. So be strong in the Lord for the best is yet to come.
The story of Hannah is a message of hope and strength to these ladies (1 Samuel 1). Hannah was one of the two wives of her husband, but she was his favorite. However, she was unable to conceive.
As a result, she was ridiculed by her adversary every day. She became unhappy with the burden of her distress. Finally, when she learned to put God first above her personal desires the Lord opened her womb, and she gave birth to Samuel one of the greatest prophets of Israel.
Your preliminary struggles to conceive is a test to remove all the unwanted elements in your life so that you will become an empty vessel to be filled with God.
The Lord Jehovah has answered your prayers, and you will give birth to greatness.
Let your love reciprocate and return to your Creator because true love is better than ten sons.
I wish to dedicate this poem to these special ladies, and I hope it will resonate in their hearts and give birth to life.
TRUE LOVE IS BETTER THAN TEN SONS
Love that is selfless;
Love that is true;
Love that sacrifices pride on the altar of redemption –
The love of Christ!
This love transcends beyond the passage of time;
It surpasses all understanding.
This love is better than ten sons.
Let your love revolve!
As you receive it,
You must return it to the One who created it.
Release your burden!
Surrender your desires!
Pour out your soul before the Lord.
Give Him your ALL, withhold not anything.
Allow true love to reciprocate between your Creator and you.
Then the seed deep within your womb will conceive to bring forth life.
“And he shall be unto you a restorer of your life,
And a nourisher of your old age” (Ruth 4:15)
“He shall be LENT to the Lord as long as he lives
And all the days of his separation he will be holy unto the Lord.”(1 Samuel 1:28; Num. 6:8)
He shall become a king and priest unto God our Father.
Let your countenance shines forth!
For the Lord has turned your sorrow into dancing.
Let your heart rejoice in the Lord;
Let your horn exalt in the Lord
And your mouth enlarged over your enemies
Because the Lord has given you His salvation
Rejoice in the Lord, for there is none holy as the Lord;
For there is none besides him;
Neither is there any Rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2: 1-2)
“Go in peace;
And the God of Israel will grant you the petition that you have asked of Him.” (1 Samuel 1:17).
