  1. Truly awesome! The story of Hannah is one of my favorite. God did grant her desire in the end. God bless you!

  2. Thank you yvonne. I am constantly interceding for those special mothers who are trying desperately to give birth to a child. I know the story of Hannah will inspire them and give them hope.

Today is a special day for all mothers but we must not forget to honor those mothers who have difficulty in giving birth to a child and those who foster children.
True love is indeed better than ten sons so let your love revolves between yourself and your Creator so that the seed inside of you will germinate.

  4. I have a daughter who cannot have children of her own. She has been the step-mother of her husband’s daughter since they were married just before the girl’s 3rd birthday. I have been saddened for all the years that she’s been in this role and has raised her step-daughter. He husband has never recognized her motherly role to his daughter on any Mother’s Day. He’s never let his daughter call her ‘mom’ because of her biological mom who has her on weekends and holidays. I think this failure has damaged the relationship, though my daughter has been there for her step-daughter through many things. Now they are adopting two little boys, brothers, that they have fostered since the youngest was just 5 weeks old. He will be two this summer. I have prayed for years for her to have a child of her own to call her ‘mommy’ and now that the adoption is imminent we are thanking God for these children. I Samuel 1:27 is a verse we hold dear to our hearts.

  5. Hi Grandma Peachy, It is great to hear from you and that you find this post a blessing. It is sad that your daughter’s husband never recognised the motherly role she played for his daughter.
She appeared to be an excellent mother. Motherhood in the eyes of God is not only defined by conception but by the love that she gives to her children. We also need to recognise this.
I am sure that your daughter appreciates the love and support that you give her. Keep up the good work and I will pray for you and your family. God bless you.
