Negative thoughts are our greatest adversary to achieving success.

You can conquer these thoughts when you embrace the positive affirmations that God says about you.

Are you feeling hopeless?

God says, “cast all your cares upon me because I care for you.” (1 Peter 5:7).

Are you feeling sad and depress?

God says, “I will turn your mourning into dancing and clothe you with gladness.” (Psalms 30:11).

Are you feeling lonely and dejected?

God says, “I will never leave or forsake you.”

Are you having shameful thoughts?

God says, “I will allow you to forget the shame and reproach of your past” (Isaiah 54:4)

“Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.” (Isaiah 61:7 NKJV).

Furthermore, God will not allow your enemies to triumph over you (Psalms 25:2).

Are you battling with fear?

God says, “I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of love power and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7).

  1. Those are wonderful reminders, and I needed them today, Beverley. Another verse that comes to my mind that gives me comfort when I am tossed about by life is Romans 8:38-39: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

  2. Yes, thank you Beverly for the list of God’s promises to us. I especially liked He will not allow our enemies to triumph over us. 🙌🙏 One Scripture I try to remember to bring to my heart and mind when under attack or going through difficulty is “He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 💙🎶🎶🕊️ 💙 Thank you for sharing 🤗

    • Praise the Lord. I am so glad that the post was a blessing to you. Even though I wrote it, I am also encouraged by the promises of God. Thank you for sharing this powerful verse. It really encourages my spirit, which sometimes becomes anxious over the problems of life. Have a blessed week in the Lord.
