Throughout the entire year, 2024, the Lord has been encouraging the Church to repent.

The coming of the Lord is near and the Church needs to be prepared.

Therefore, let us recap what the Lord is saying to the Church, pastors, and leaders of the nations.

Warning to the pastors who have become brutish and have not sought the Lord.

Thus said the Lord: “You will not prosper and all your flocks will be scattered.”(Jeremiah 10:21).

Warning to the rulers and leaders of territories.

Thus said the Lord: “Humble yourself, sit down for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.”(Jeremiah 13:19).

Warning to the Church

Thus said the Lord: “I have seen your adulteries; and your lustful neighings (whinning, complaining) .

I have seen the lewdness of your harlotry, and your abominations on the hills  and in the fields.

Woe unto you, my people who are called by my name, will you not be made clean? When will you repent and humble yourself unto me?” (Jeremiah 13:27 NKJV).

The call to repentance

The Lord is merciful and He is calling everyone to repent and be ready for His return.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18 NKJV)

The Lord is merciful and gracious to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Now that we have entered a New Year, let us make use of this opportunity to repent and return to the Lord.
