Many people are unaware that they are obsessed with social media.

The following are ten signs of social media obsession.

  1. When you find yourself saying LOL LOL LOL instead of laughing in real life.

2. When you draw emojis in your essays at school or reports at work. πŸ€—

3. When you are upset with your friends when they do not reply to your WhatsApp messages immediately after they receive them.

4. When you tweet while sitting on the toilet.

5. When you check your Facebook first thing in the morning.

6. While having dinner with your best friend you text each other instead of talking.

7. When your heart leaps every time your message notification rings.

8. When Ok Google, Alexa, and Siri are your best friends.

9. When you become upset when no one likes your post.

10. You definitely need professional help when you cannot live without your phone.

  4. I must confess I check my Facebook page in the morning. Not the first thing – but after breakfast and devotions, next comes my Facebook. I do not follow a lot of people, but my children/grandchildren are scattered all over the states (West Virginia, North Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee and Illinois) so Facebook is how I stay in touch with many of them.
