Today is a special day for me.
It is special because it is my birthday!
Today, God has given me sixty years on this earth and I want to express my gratitude to Him.

Thank you Lord!
Last year I thought that I would celebrate my sixtieth birthday with a party.
Today, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Celebrate your birthday in the house of the Lord!”
In the house of Lord
I will, therefore, join with Psalmist David when he said,
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem (Psalms 122:1-2)
Therefore, I am glad today to be in the house of the Lord!
Because,
In the house of the Lord is the presence of the Lord.
The house of the Lord is a place where I can worship the Lord freely because of the “hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” (Hebrews 6:19-19).
In the house of the Lord, I can bring my sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise.

In the house of the Lord, I can pour out my heart to God knowing that He cares and He will answer.
In the house of the Lord is the glory of God.
I will see the Lord “high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.”
I can join the angels as they sang, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” (Isaiah 6:1-3)
In the house of the Lord, I can hide from the enemy because the Lord is my refuge and strength.
He is a present help in times of trouble.
Therefore,
Thank you, Lord for satisfying me with long life and showing me your salvation.
Thank you for giving me another day to celebrate in your presence.
Thank you, Lord, that you are a refuge for the oppressed. You are a refuge in times of trouble (Psalms 9:9).
Thank you, Lord, that you are my strength shield. You are the saving refuge of your anointed (Psalms 28:7-8).
Thank you that you are my deliverer!
You are my strong tower!
Thank you that you are the rock of my salvation!
Thank you, Lord, that you are my hiding place.

I am grateful that the house of the Lord is my secret place.
And,
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. (Psalms 91:1-13)
Hallelujah!
Lord, we praise you that you have heard our cry and you have answered and said,
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.” (Psalms 91:14-16)
In Jesus name, Amen!
Continue to pray for me as I remain in the presence of God!

Then the children of Israel arose and went up to the house of God to inquire of God. They said, “Which of us shall go up first to battle against the children of Benjamin?” The Lord said, “Judah first!” (Judges 20:18)
