During the days of Noah, the evil on earth was so intense that God sent a flood to destroy the entire land.
But, after the flood, the Lord promised that He would not curse the ground for man’s sake, neither would He destroy everything on it nor send a flood to destroy all flesh (Genesis 6-9).
God placed a rainbow in the sky to seal His promise.

The earth has once more become corrupted. The blood of the innocent is crying out to God for mercy.
Once again, the Lord is grieved in His heart when He sees the wickedness of mankind upon earth.
It is not the will of God that anyone should perish as they did in the flood so He sent His Son to earth to become a sacrifice for the remission of sins.
Jesus was rejected and crucified by rebellious men.
Although He rose triumphantly from the grave, stubborn men are still refusing to accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
To uphold His covenant with us, the Lord sent us warnings in the form of natural disasters or His prophetic Word to encourage us to repent.
Will we repent or will we continue in sin that grace may abound?
“God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” (Romans 6:2)
Unfortunately, unrepentant men and many born-again believers are reveling in sin.

If we continue in sin we will fall under the judgment of God.
Therefore,
“Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up”. (Hosea 6:1)
For our land to be healed, repentance must begin in the church.
Therefore, the Lord is saying to the Church, “Repent, O’ backsliding Church!”
Let us seek the Lord and repent so that our land can be healed.
Amen!
