Based on the Bible in Genesis 1:1, God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell in (Psalms 24:1 NKJV).
So the entire universe was created by the spoken Word of God.

The earth is unique because God created it as the home for man.
Before God created man He created the sun to sustain life on earth. The sun provides light, heat, and multiple other natural resources for humanity and it is the catalyst for plants to grow.
God created the moon to give humanity a soft light in the night to aid in sleep for a restful night.
The moon also helps in seasons and tides. The sea will never overflow the land as long as the moon is in place.
The Lord created water, plants, and atmosphere to feed and refresh humanity on earth.
The other planets in the solar system and the stars were all created to give the Earth balance and to sustain life for humans on Earth.
When everything was perfect on the earth and in the universe, God created man in His image and likeness and breathed His Spirit in his nostrils and man became a living soul.
The body of humans was taken from the dust of the earth and so we are bonded to the earth.
The body was not created to live on the Moon or Mars otherwise we would have been created from the dust of those planets.
The spirit of man is bonded to God. We may stray away from Him but we will always return to Him.
Hence,
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV)
As the above verse states there will come a time when everyone on earth, in heaven and under the earth will bow down to Jesus Christ.
We must recognize our connection to this earth and our connection to God, our Creator.
The Lord wants you to know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and His work is marvelous (Psalms 139:14).
The Psalmist said your soul knows how wonderful you were created because this is the soul that was quickened by the breath of God.
You cannot hide from God! Adam tried and he was shamefully discovered (Genesis 3).
You cannot run away from God! Jonah tried and ran straight into the arms of God inside the belly of a great fish (Jonah 1-2).

If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.
(Psalms 139:8-10)
You may deny the existence of God, but one day similar to Paul you will run straight into God on your way way to Damascus or your personal agenda.
The Lord will show you His glory and you will have no other choice but to repent.
You are special because you are a part of the physical earth as much as you are a part of God.
