The Right Hand Of God

2–3 minutes

God has two hands similar to us humans but the right hand of God is more emphasized in the Bible because it is the dominant and more frequently used hand.

When the Bible speaks about the right hand of God it is telling us about the power and strength of the Lord.

It is also emphasizing the holiness of God.

Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. (Exodus 15:6)

The power of God’s right hand

You will not be fearful when the Lord holds you with His right hand (Isaiah 41:13).

You are given supernatural blessings when the Lord lay His right hand upon your head. The greater blessings were always given to the firstborn of Israel with the father’s right hand (Genesis 48:14-19).

When the Lord stretches out His right hand against the enemy they are totally destroyed (Exodus 15:12; Psalms 21:8).

You demonstrate your trust and confidence in God when you make Him your right hand (Psalms 16:8).

You will be joyful in the presence of the Lord and enjoy bountiful pleasures at His right hand (Psalms 16:11).

The Lord will reward you according to the cleanness of your hand and depending upon your righteousness in His sight (Psalms 18:20, 24).

The purifying power of God’s right hand will make you righteous through Jesus Christ (Psalms 48:10).

There are strength and protection in the right hand of God (Psalms 18:35; 20:6).

Salvation is in the right hand of God (Psalms 44:3; Psalms 118:15-16).

There is victory in the right hand of God (Psalms 98:1).

In the right hand of wisdom is long life and in the left hand is riches and honor (Proverbs 3:16). God is the author and Creator of wisdom (Isaiah 48:13).

When you abide at the right hand of God you will inherit the kingdom of heaven that the Lord prepared before the foundation of the earth (Matthew 25:34).

The Lord Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God making intercession for us (Mark 16:19; Acts 2:25, 33-34; Acts 7:56; Romans 8:34; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 1:3; Hebrews 10:12; 12:2; 1 Peter 3:22).

Jesus Christ holds the seven stars in His right hand (Revelation 2:1).

The Bible states that the seven stars are the angels that watches over the seven churches in Asia. But, in our dispensation, the Church refers to the believers in Christ who are protected by God’ holy angels.

Indeed, Psalms 91:11 states that the Lord will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. “They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.” (Psalms 91:12 NLT)

There is guaranteed protection from the Lord when you abide under the shadow of His wings.

Praise the Lord!

I pray that the right hand of God will uphold and strengthen you. I pray that you will receive His right hand which contains long life and health.

I pray that wherever you go the angel of the Lord will encamp around you and protect you.

I pray that you will accept the right hand of God and receive salvation and victory.

In Jesus name, Amen!

Will you accept the right hand of God?
