Be Careful How You Read Your Bible

1–2 minutes

Two old friends met one day after many years. One attended college and now was very successful.

The successful one said, “How has everything been going with you?”

The successful friend was so impressed that he rushed to his hotel, grabbed a Gideon Bible, flipped it open, and dropped his finger on a page.

  4. You have probably heard this one: A man decided to open his Bible, wherever his finger landed would be his direction from God. He opened his Bible and his finger landed on “Judas went and hanged himself.” Thinking that could not possible be from God, he decided to try again. Opening his Bible his finger landed on “go and do likewise.’ 🙂

  7. We read the Bible in a way, like no other book…. All the others are the earthly endeavor, but the Bible is the heavenly food we need everyday, not just to survive, in a cruel world, but to thrive…
