It is hard to like a person who is rude and overbearing.
It is even harder to forgive them when they have done you wrong.
But bearing with one another in spite of our faults and idiosyncrasies is vital to our growth and development.
Unfortunately, we are living in a very fast-paced world where everyone cares only for their immediate family and possibly close friends and they have very little patience for acquaintances and strangers.
When we continuously live exclusively for ourselves our hearts will become hardened and it becomes even more difficult to forgive someone who does us wrong.
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3)

Have you ever noticed that small children still cling to their parents even after they have been scolded or punished?
This is because their little hearts are soft and pliable so they forgive easily and without hesitation.
We need to ask the Lord to give us hearts of flesh and remove the stony hearts so that we can forgive our brothers and sisters.
It is mandatory that you forgive because God forgave us of our sins and He held nothing against us.
If you do not forgive you make it impossible to receive the forgiveness of God (Matthew 6:14-15).
And be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgive you. (Ephesians 4:32 NKJV)
Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, bearing with one another, if anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. (Colossians 3:12-13 NKJV)
