  2. I believe we attempt to please people out of fear of rejection. We battle with the need for acceptance and the mistaken belief that “good actions” equal more love, yet at the Cross, Jesus revealed the price He paid because He loves us. It is comforting to realize that “not everyone will love me, but the One who counts will never cease loving me.”

  4. I struggled with this in my youth. I was a people-pleaser wanting to be accepted. Then I realized that God loves me as I am, that He is my strength, my hope, and my future. Great post, Beverley!

  6. Such a great post! πŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸΏPleasing God, not people, should be our top priority. His Word is our standard. Living to please people is a trap. We will never find contentment and peace in trying to please people. Thanks Beverley!

    1. You are so right. There is no contentment in trying to please people. We just have to be genuine and aim to please the Lord. Thank you so much for your input.

The days seem to be going so fast that I did not realize that I have not replied to my comments for such a long time. πŸ™‚
