Woman!
Who are you?
Who do men say you are?
A second class citizen?
A helper? A maid?
A child bearer?
Weak?
A sex symbol…?
No!
God says,
You are WOMAN – Protector of the heart!
You are EVE – Mother of all living things!
You are SARAH – Mother of nations!
Woman!
You received life, and you bring forth life.
Your seed produced the Conqueror, who destroyed the devourer.
Woman!
Nations are in your womb!
Your womb nourished and sustained princes and princesses –
Even the King of kings.
Woman!
Your breast nurtured and comforted sons and daughters,
Even the Son of the living God – Creator of the world.
Woman!
Your hands formed and created robes for prophets and priests,
Even the Great High Priest who has passed through the heavens,
Jesus, the Son of God. (Hebrews 4:14).
Woman!
Your lips kissed away tears,
Repaired the broken pieces
And soothed the throbbing wounds.
From your mouth sings forth praises
And speak words of strength and power.
Woman!
Who are you?
You are:
A woman of great faith.
A woman freed from all bondage
And infirmities by the blood of Jesus Christ.
You are:
A woman of virtue and purpose.
A woman of favor and gratitude!
A woman of discernment and intellect
You are:
Woman!
Be proud to be a WOMAN!
