Hope In God

1–2 minutes

There will be times when you will feel discouraged because of circumstances that you cannot control.

During those times, you do not have to wait for someone to make you feel better because you are your best encourager.

Prophecy to your soul to hope in God because He is right by your side in the midst of your situation.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God. (Psalms 42:11)

Focus on the living and leave the dead things of the past behind.

The dead cannot praise God, and they have no incentives.

You are alive, and so you have hope, and you can praise the Lord.

Hope in God!

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry.

The Lord looseth the prisoners.  The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind. The Lord raiseth them that are bowed down. The Lord loveth the righteous. The Lord preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord. (Psalms 146:5-10)
