Congratulations!

1–2 minutes

Congratulations!

We all get excited when we hear this word because it means that we have accomplished something outstanding.

You have toiled long hours beating the books and now finally you are grasping that degree certificate – the evidence of your labor.

Congratulations!

What if you have not done anything significant according to the standards of this world?

Perhaps you have never heard this word spoken to you before.

You may be thinking that all your years of hard labor on your job, for your church, or even for your family are in vain.

Don’t lose hope!

Today, the Lord is saying to you,

Congratulations!

You are accepted!

bread with joy 2

Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works.  Let your garments always be white, and let your head lack no oil. (Ecclesiastes 9: 7-8)

Yes, you are accepted by God.

You have been accepted for your good works and you have been accepted in the beloved.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. (Ephesians 1:3-6)

Therefore, step on the heads of doubt, self-reproach, and condemnation.

You have enough reason to receive this compliment with joy.

Congratulations!

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9)

  1. The verse is somewhat wrong. It should be Ecclesiastes 9:7,8. God bless you.
