Over the past week, the first two lines of the song entitled Nara by Tim Godfrey and Travis Greene has been resonating in my mind.
What shall I render to Jehovah for He has done so much for me?
Then I began to meditate on the Lord’s graciousness to me and I too began to wonder:
What can I render to Jehovah?

What can I give to my God who have been everything to me?
My God saved, delivered and rescued me from the wiles of the enemy.
What can I give my God in return for all the great things He has done for me?
Can I give Him my substance?
Is there enough gold and precious stones good enough for my God?
Can I praise Him enough?
Can my praise surpass the seraphim who cries continually, day and night, around the throne of God:
“Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighy who was and is and is to come.” (Revelation 4:8)
What can I give to my God?
Can I give Him my body?
The flesh is like grass that withers and like a flower it will fade away.
But the Word of the Lord endures forever.
What shall I give to my God who took me from the wilderness of sin and established me upon the rock of salvation.
Is there anything in this world sufficient to render unto my God?
Is there anyone deserving of God’s grace and mercy?
No not one!
So what can I give?
I will give Him my worship.
I will give Him my love and adoration.
I will hide His Word in my heart so that I do not sin against Him.
I will rejoice, meditate and delight in the Word of God because His Word applied in my life will endure forever.
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (Psalms 119:103)
Reference: Psalms 119
