Over the past months since the news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, I have received a lot of text messages that people have sent to me by Whatsapp and Facebook messenger.

Some of these messages contain valuable information about protecting yourself and family against this disease.

Unfortunately, most of these messages are propagating news of an impending doomsday apocalyptic event.

I read one particular article that I received on Whatsapp that claimed to be from a Chinese official with secrets that he is releasing to the public.

He claimed that there is no coronavirus and it is a big cover-up of a more sinister event that is happening.

The actual truth, the man claimed, is a biological agent that was released in the atmosphere by accident.

Consequently, thousands of people in China were exposed to the deadly agent, which first turned the victims into lunatics then slowly disintegrate their bodies.

He claimed that there is no cure and everyone who contracted the disease all died. As a result, thousands of people in China are dead from this plague.

The man went on to claim that he visited a facility that housed the people who have been infected with the deadly agents.

He described terrifying scenes of mentally ill patients screaming and wallowing on the floor in their body fluids while men dressed in black uniforms were beating and degrading the sick people in a sadistic manner.

Then the writer of the article described an inner chamber filled from floor to ceiling with dead bodies.

The tortured sick inmates were forced to drag the dead bodies to a burning inferno where they burned the bodies to provide fuel to run the city.

The scene that the man described was so horrific it was as if he was describing hell itself.

I never usually read these awful pieces of stuff that are forwarding on social media, but somehow I was glued to this long article and could not stop reading until it ended.

The story was horrific, to say the least. Most likely, these kinds of sensational news were created to generate fear and panic.

And, it is working!

Evidence of this can be seen in the bare shelves in the supermarket as people are buying and hoarding food and household supplies.

I noticed that the panic shopping began in the USA and then it spread to the rest of the world.

I cannot remember seeing any panic shopping in China where the virus began? Hmm, I wonder why? Maybe you can enlighten me.

Immediately after reading the terrible article on Whatsapp, I felt an inner peace washed over my body and mind.

Then the Lord said to me, “Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.”

I picked up my bible to find the relevant scripture.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3)

The Lord is saying to us,

“Be at peace and do not be perturbed because I am preparing mansions for you in my Father’s house.”

What are these mansions and how can they help us right now in these critical times?

These mansions are not made with hands and are eternal in heaven (2 Corinthians 5:1).

In other words, it is a spiritual dwelling place or the secret place of God where you can be sheltered from all the pestilences that the enemy is releasing.

The Lord Jesus Christ said that His people will know where He is going and how to get there.

But some people are doubters, like Thomas, who have to see physical evidence to believe.

They have no idea of the way to this place. So Thomas asked the Lord to show him the way.

Jesus said unto him, I am the way the truth and life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. (John 14: 6)

If you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour you will know the way to the secret place of God.

Then again there are some Christians who like Phillip, have no spiritual eyesight so they are unable to recognize the Father.

Thus, Phillip asked the Lord to show them the Father. Jesus told Phillip that if you know Him (Jesus) you will know the Father because both of them are one ( John14:9-11).

Yet, there is another set of people who, like Judas (not Iscariot), lack spiritual wisdom and understanding and so they cannot understand how they will know the Father.

So, Judas asked Jesus to explain to them how He will manifest Himself to them and not the world. Below is Jesus’ answer from the Living Bible.

Jesus replied, “Because I will only reveal myself to those who love me and obey me. The Father will love them too, and we will come to them and live with them. (John 14:23TLB)

You see, my friends, when you love and obey the Lord, He will live inside your heart and then you will become the secret place or sanctuary of God.

It is in this secret place you will be sheltered from all the attacks of the enemy.

It is in this place that God will reveal Himself to you alone and the world cannot experience this.

It is a place where you will be comforted by the Holy Spirit.

It is in this secret place of God you will be able to do greater works.

It is in this place you can ask anything in the name of Jesus and He will do it.

It is in this dwelling place of God you will experience the love of God.

When you find the secret place of God you will remain under His wings forever!

Most importantly, in these perilous times, the secret place of God is a special place where you will find peace.

A peace that passes all understanding.

Peace I leave with, my peace I give u to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. (Colossians 3:15)
