My Birthday Prayer

Beverley

Today I awoke to a new bright shiny day!

Thank God, it is my birthday!

This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice in it.

I will rejoice because the Lord has given me life to see another day.

He gave me the strength to walk another mile.

He gave me hope for a brighter tomorrow.

He gave me peace that passes all understanding.

The Lord gave me joy which strengthens me when I am weak.

He gave me faith to trust in His mighty power.

He gave me His Word to conquer the enemy and put him under my feet.

Most of all, God gave me love to be the salt of the earth and a beacon of light to those in need.

Thank you, God, for blessing me on this day – My birthday!

Amen!

    In Oz, the big heavy bottle i def making a come back on the supermarket shelf – usually with wines that are on the exclusive side and where it’s mostly about the marketing and less about the juice. I’m optimistic and hope consumers wake up to these… can’t stand them. Apart from total uselessness, they are also not practical unless you drive an SUV in the city. But that speaks for itself.Organic wine

    I absolutely love your birthday prayer…eloquently spoken and wonderfully thankful. As I peruse the writings on word press I am so amazed and happily excited on the various ways we all use words and I think it’s so beautiful the different styles of writing that I enjoy so much. I spent some time away from the written word and am re-discovering the joys I once had.
