Armor Bearers

1–2 minutes

After reading this post on Queen Karen’s blog – Sacrificedbeyondprice, I felt an urgent need to reblogged. It is a constant reminder that we are in a spiritual warfare and we need to be fully armored plus we need to take only the men of war with us in battle.

“Take all the people of war with you.” Jos 8:1 NKJV

When you’re under spiritual attack, you need to surround yourself with “the people of war.” They are experienced in spiritual warfare and know how to deal with the Enemy. They have proven strategies for victory and a tenacious faith that rises up and says, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Ro 8:31). The truth is, the people ofwarare the people of theWord. They know how to take the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God, and use it to defeat the Enemy (See Eph 6:17). They’re not hesitant about marching into the Enemy’s camp and taking back everything he has stolen from them (See 1Sa 30:8). Anybody can stand with you in the good times, but when you find somebody who can stand with you in the bad…

  2. How odd to read what you’ve got to say here. I’m working on a couple of chapters in my next book, and my characters started talking about just this. Their talking about putting on the whole armor of God, and the question, alsot as a joke is would Tony Stark still be Iron man, even without his armor. The answer is it’s not the armor that makes him formidable, but the heart and desire to use it. While there’s a lot of difference between Ironman the comic, and the Armor of God, the principal remains the same, a willingness to step up and do something. From where I sit, a lot of Christians are afraid to step up and do soemthing. Maybe they’re afraid of annoying the Devil or better yet, winning against him.

    1. I agree with you. Fear is one of the weapons that the devil used against Christians. We need to be vigilant. Thanks for visiting and have a great night.

      1. We all have weaknesses and are Imperfect. By praying forr one another. and for unrepented sinners, we will make ourselves strong. My hope is that we will all become more pleasing to God.

      4. Hi Conroy. It is good to hear from you again. I also don’t like the idea of Evangelist going around with these young men/women they called Armor Bearers. I believe they are just setting up themselves to allow sin to enter into their lives. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week in the Lord.
