God placed some people in a certain position of authority to speak up for the people who cannot speak for themselves.
These people are the poor and helpless in society, the widows, orphans and children.
God allowed Esther to become queen to save the Jews from mass destruction (Esther 1-4)
God selected Moses to lead His people from the bondage of slavery and He appointed Aaron to be the spokesman for the people.
God anointed David to be king over His people and to build the mighty nation of Israel.
All of these people God chose at a particular time to fulfill a particular cause. They were chosen for such a time as this.
Are you called by God for such a time as this?
Assess your position in the home, workplace or community and ask the Lord to show you the higher call that He has for you.
It may be that you are in that place and position for such a time as this.
For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? (Esther 4:14)
