And the Lord said to Moses, “Has the Lord’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not.” (Numbers 11:23)

When you are in distress or burdened with a problem ask yourself these questions.

Has the Lord’s arm been shortened that He cannot heal and restore?

“I create the fruit of the lips:
Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,” Says the Lord,
“And I will heal him.” (Isaiah 57:18)

For I will restore health to you
And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord,
‘Because they called you an outcast saying:
“This is Zion; No one seeks her.” ’ (Jeremiah 30:17)

And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” (Matthew 8:7)

Has the Lord’s arm shortened that He cannot provide for your daily needs?

“Therefore, I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?  

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? (Matthew 6:25-27)

Has the Lord’ arm been shortened that He cannot guide and protect you?

For this is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death. (Psalms 48:14)

But He made His own people go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock; and He led them on safely, so that they did not fear; but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. (Psalms 78:52-53)

The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. (Isaiah 58:11)

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. (John 16:13)

It is quite evident that the Lord’s arm is not shortened. In other words, God is not limited in the things that He can do for us.

Therefore, let us trust Him!
