Are you willing to wrestle all night with God for your deliverance?
Some people go up to the altar at church every Sunday to be delivered. Is this necessary? Is the Lord’s arm shortened that He cannot deliver you once?
I believe that if you are desperate for deliverance and you seek the Lord sincerely He will deliver you once. When you have an encounter with God you cannot be the same.
Therefore, your life will be completely transformed. This means that you will not return to the dead sins of the past.
Some people like to play church having one foot in and one foot out. Every Sunday they kneel at the altar to appease their guilty conscience, but the next day finds them repeating the same mistakes.
You cannot serve God and mammon. You cannot serve God and the devil at the same time (Matthew 6:24).
You have to make a choice!
If you desperately need to change, you have to be like Jacob and wrestle with God all night until you get your breakthrough.
You can either persevere in prayer and fasting until you are delivered or you remain at the altar until you receive your breakthrough.
You will know when you are delivered when God change your name, meaning He change your circumstances and renew His Spirit within you.
When you pray, cry out to God and say, “I will not let You go unless You bless me! I desire to have my name change. I do not want to be called an addict, a gossiper… I want to be called a woman or a man of God.”
